Rising Talent Award announces at Pakistan-Srilanka Int. Cricket Series 2015

As part of its longstanding commitment to nurturing sports in Pakistan, Bank Alfalah announced the winners of the Rising Talent Award at the Pakistan-Srilanka International Cricket Series 2015.
At the ODI game, M. Rizwan emerged as the winner of the Bank Alfalah Rising Talent Award winning a cash prize of US$ 1,500 while Anwar Ali took the Rising Talent Award, winning a cash prize of US $1,000, in the T20 game of the recently concluded Pakistan-Srilanka Cricket Series.
The award was given on best performance by a young player who has played less than 25 matches in each playing format. The winners of the awards were decided by a jury comprising the match commentators.
Speaking at the event, Saad Khan, Group Head, Corporate & Investment Banking, Bank Alfalah said “The Bank continues to foster emerging talent in sports.
For the last seven years, we have been supporting new talent in polo and plan to do the same for cricket in years to come. I congratulate Rizwan and Anwar, this year’s winners of Bank Alfalah’s Rising Talent Award in Cricket. Introduced last year, our Rising Talent Programme inspires and recognizes young, upcoming talent in the country and provides them with meaningful opportunities.”The Rising Talent Award has been established by Bank Alfalah to foster emerging talent and showcase new stories of success. The Award provides a platform for young people who are talented, think differently, and have the will to fight all odds.
Bank Alfalah has announced Rising Talent Awards in Fashion and Polo and now in Cricket. The Bank intends to continue looking for such young talented individuals and help transform ambitions into reality.
