Resolve issues with reconciliation, Altaf asks stakeholders

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Saturday asked the government to release ‘innocent workers’ of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), saying political issues must be resolved with reconciliation.

According to a statement issued here, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain praised the government and said the authorities must be appreciated for observing patience, adding that talks were the only solution to the current political turmoil.

He appealed to the PAT and PTI leaderships to immediately resume talks with the government in order to resolve issues peacefully.

Altaf said such a solution of the current issue be sought that is acceptable to the government and all other stakeholders.
