Relief activities expands in Tharparkar: ISPR

THARPARKAR: The army has expanded its relief efforts in the drought-hit areas of Diplo, Mithi, Khinser, Rattan Jotar, Dhunai and Tharparkar, according to an ISPR press release.

Further, the number of ration distribution points have been increased from four to 12, and seven more medical relief camps have been established as well – making the total number of camps 11. More than 4,105 patients have been provided with medical assistance.

The army has also distributed 35 tons of ration among the drought affectees, and helicopters also air drop ration to people affected by drought.
