LARKANA/KARACHI: Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Sindh secretary general Rashid Mehmood Soomro Tuesday resigned from his party post, displeased with Maulana Fazlur Rahman’s visit to MQM headquarters Nine Zero,.
According to details, senior members of JUI-F could not stand the visit of Maulana Fazlur Rahman to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarters Nine Zero.
JUI-F Sindh chapter’s secretary general Rashid Mehmood Soomro today stepped down from his party position.
Speaking about his decision, Soomro said Maulana Fazlur Rahman prior to his Nine Zero visit didn’t take the party into confidence. He said he had reservations on the move and so he is resigning from party post.
ATTACK ON RASHID GODAIL TERMED TO SABOTAGE RANGERS OPERATION: NOONARI

HYDERABAD: The attack on MQM parliamentarian Rashid Godail is attempt to sabotage the Rangers operation in Karachi against terrorists. Had the killers of Azim Tariq and Imran Farooq been arrested and punished the attack on Rashid Godail would have not taken place.
This was stated by senior leader of SNP Ashraf Noonari.
Condemning the attack on senior leader of Mutehida Godail, Noonari said those who are opposing Rangers operation in Karachi and want to save the terrorists and target killers, were involved in this attack.
He said the arrest of assailants of Godail would change the politics scenario of Sindh. Noonari said the chain of attack was connected with martyrdom of officer of security agency in Karachi few hours before attack.
He said SNP would continue to support the Rangers operation against terrorists and target killers to concluding end until no one terrorist is left. He demanded elimination of those who always play politics of dead bodies.
09 YEARS GIRL RAPED

SHIKARPUR: A nine year an old girl raped by youth at desolate place near Ali Shah Pir in the jurisdiction of New Faujdari police station on last late night.
According to reports a girl identified as Maharulnisa of 09, daughter of Abdulullah Soomro residential of Ali Shah pir was going to shop to purchase some items for home when one youth along with their friends forcibly taken away at desolate place and victimize her for sexual assaulting.
A girl Maharulnisa was fainted during rape and accused escaped away from place of incident.
Victim girl Maharulnisa shifted to District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital in faint condition for medical treatment and further medical formalities.
Talking to news men woman medical officer Dr Safia told that I have taken simples and sent to Laboratory and result will be come up after 20 days.
FIR was registered at New Fuajdari Police Station.
Police have arrested one accused identified as Aamir Ali Khoso and further police investigation is in progress, told SHO Aamir Khan Pathan aka Chulbul Panday.
It is worthwhile mention that arrested accused Aamir Ali Khoso has been arrested on identification of the victim girl.
Mother of the victim girl Qamarulnisa Soomro demanded of the authorities concerned to take immediate notice and provide justice to them because they were very poor.
03 PERSONS RECEIVED BURNT INJURIES

SHIKARPUR: Three persons received burns when a coach tank exploded while the labors were trying to weld the coach tank near station road in the shop of Mehboob welding workshop in the limits of Lakhi Gate police station on Tuesday.
Upon being informed, the rescuers rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons including Nazeer Ahmed, Muhammad Sachal and Feroze Shaikh to Civil Hospital Shikarpur who were referred to Civil Hospital Sukkur after providing them first aid due to their critical condition.
Sources said explosion had blown up while trying to coach tank for weld while coach tank was exploded during welding.

SHIKARPUR: The Shikarpur police have conducted separate raids in different areas of Shikarpur including Sturt Gang and Lakhi Gate police stations areas on Tuesday.
As a result of raids police have arrested one suspect Shahid son of Arab Bhayo and recovered one Kalashnikov from the possession of arrested suspect from Lakhi Gate area.
On the other hand police have arrested one suspect Imtiaz Banglani and recovered one Kalashnikov and good number bullets from the area of Stuart Ganj police station.
Police have registered separate FIRs in their police stations.

SHIKARPUR: The people of Sindh have rejected the “Bargaining” System of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and demanded the cleanup operation to be conducted against the corrupt officers of Government Departments as well as against the MNAs, MPAs and Ministers belonging to any political parties in order to uproot the corruption culture from the public servants and the Civil Society if the Apex Committee and the rulers were really sincere to improve the socio-economic life of the people and discourage the terrorists and criminal activities which caused to create the panic, unrest and insecurity problems for the people to face, when the people of the province of Sindh were awaiting to breath the sigh of relief and live their lives in peaceful atmosphere which was their democratic and legal right to avail.
This was stated by Syed Zain Shah the General Secretary of Sindh United Party (SUP) while talking to media men on the occasion of party meeting of Larkana Division held at residence of SUP Central leader Agha Qamar Mushwani here at Shikarpur on Monday evening.
He expressed his deep concern over the action to exercise the practice of conducting investigation against the corruption committed in Government Departments including Local Bodies Institutions through Anti-Corruption offices who were already involved in corruption which he termed as a petty drama being played to take the record of corrupt officers in possession of Sindh Government through Anti-Corruption Department in order to defend them so that the ruling party men and the favorite officers appointed and posted in different Nation Development Departments including Local Bodies Institutions.
Replying to a question about the relationship between PPP and MQM the SUP Leader allegedly said that the PPP and MQM have close relations between them like as dual sisters as well as the leaderships of both the parties were power angry which could not live alive without enjoying the power for which both the parties were misguiding and misleading the people to avail their sympathies so that the PPP and MQM leaders could meet their political and individual ends to remain in power.
In an other question, Syed Zain Shah said that the opportunist and selfish MQM leadership was a character of one act play towards the resignations rendered by MQM MNAs, MPAs and Senators on behest of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain only to give threat to the Sindh and Federal Government aimed at seeking the support from the Government at Provincial and Federal level for protection of MQM leaders and the workers involved in criminal activities.
While the SUP Leader was of his opinion that all the MQM parliamentarian would get their resignations withdrawn because of they did not want to lose their political reputation and the people’s confidence built by them from the platform of Qaumi Mutahidah Mahaz.
On the other hand he demanded of Sindh Government to announce the election schedule for holding the Local Government elections without any delay to settle the outstanding people’s problems through Local Bodies Institutions on gross root level when the people had suffered a lot.
Earlier the Divisional Meeting of Sindh United Party-SUP decided to launch the campaign against the bad Governance of Sindh Government and to press the rulers to change their anti-public attitude towards the resolution of the outstanding problems facing by the people in the province.
