KARACHI: The Rangers said that they arrested 356 people across Sindh for violating code of conduct regarding collection of sacrificial animals’ hides.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, the Rangers spokesman said that 18,307 hides were seized in the operation on Eid days.
He said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Jamat-e-Islami (JI), Sunni Tehreek (ST), Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) and Memon community violated the code of conduct. The detailed report in this regard would be presented to the federal and provincial governments, he added.
