LARKANA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi categorically announced that his party is against the division of Sindh province.
“If someone tries to split Sindh, we will fight against him,” Qureshi said while addressing a public rally at Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) stronghold Friday.
The PTI would not allow construction of Kalabagh Dam at any cost, he said.
He said the people of Larkana have taken first step for change in Sindh province.
“I want to tell Nisar Khoro that the people of Larkana have rejected your resolution, Qureshi roared.
The PTI doesn’t need any non-objection certificate from Sindh government to hold public gathering in Larkana, he said.
He asked the Sindh government as to what measures they have done so far for restoration of peace in Karachi, the province’s largest city.
“Imran Khan has arrived in Sindh to bring the Sindhis out from despair,” Qureshi said.
Putting forth another question over performance of Sindh government, the PTI leader asked if it is possible to get development contracts without giving bribe. –
