LAHORE: According to sources, the Punjab Home Department has prepared a summary to finalise the rules regarding implementation of death penalties for convicted terrorists.
As per rules, death sentences will be implemented within 14 days after issuance of black warrants.
Under present rules, court’s verdict regarding death sentence is being implemented within 21 days, which duration is now being reduced.
New rules will be implemented after approval of Chief Minister and Governor of Punjab.
