PTI protesters will be provided all possible security: CM Sindh

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah Thursday said the participants of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led protest and their leadership will be provided all possible security tomorrow but warned that no one will be allowed to take law into their hands.

Talking to media men here, the Sindh CM said PTI’s is at daggers drawn with some other party at some other place but they still wanted to show their strength in Karachi. However, Sindh government will provide them security wherever they stage protest or rally, he added.

He further said that it would have been better if PTI had delayed their protest for two-three days in view of Chehlum of Imam Hussain (RA).

“There are terror threats in the city and a vigilant eye has to be kept on criminal elements these days,” he said, added all the law enforcing agencies have been alerted in this regard.

PTI is all set to stage protest demonstrations on Friday at 23 different points in Karachi as part of its Plan C of its campaign against the Sharif government.
