BADIN: The former speaker of National Assembly and MNA Dr Mirza Fehmid said that the local PPP leaders and the candidates were campaigning under the police protocol and were harassing and pressuring their voters.
While talking to the media persons, here on Sunday deplored that their opponents with the collision of local officers were bent upon to rig the upcoming LB polls .
Dr Mirza allaged that 120 polling in various parts of the district had so far been changed to facilitate their rivals to easily rig the elections, which was totally unfair.
She alleged that polling staff being deployed at the polling stations were mostly the relatives of the candidates.
She demanded the withdrawal of the undue police protocol to their opponents. She claimed that if the elections were held free and fair the candidates fielded by her spouse Dr Zulifikar Ali Mirza and their allies would easily win.
Dr Mirza observed that after the ugly incidents in the first phase of the elections. She said that the second LB polls should be conducted under the supervision of the Army and Rangers to avoid any untoward incident in the sensitive districts and where according to her PPP is in week position.
She reiterated that her spouse was fighting for the people of the Badin and the whole and on the matter of the principles.
Earlier Dr Mirza also met the three- member team of Election Commission of Pakistanon Saturday evening and submitted the her complaints in written and provided them some documentary evidences.
