LAHORE: Senior leaders of Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Q met here on Tuesday to discuss upcoming Senate elections.
PPP Punjab President Manzoor Watto met PML-Q’s top leader Choudhry Shujaat Hussain to exchanged views on overall political situation in the country.
Later addressing a press conference, Hussain said that both the parties discussed Senate elections due to be held in March.
He said that both the parties have agreed to work together, adding he stressed upon the PPP leadership to create a strong opposition in the National and other assemblies.
