LARKANA: Renowned Intellectual and Writer Muhammad Ali Pathan protested against the unfair distribution of Novel Award announced by Sindh Language Authority ignoring the deserving candidates and he has appealed Chief Minister Sindh by letter and requesting him to issue the directives to Sindh Language Authority for withholding Award on Novel for 2013 to be conferred upon on 20th June 2014.

Muhammad Ali Pathan said in letter that one of Award is being given to such books which do not come under the criteria, adding that nominee of four writers among Rasool Memon, Mumtaz Bukhari, Muhammad Ali Pathan and Madam Tara Mir Chandani were made for Award, but concerned authorities ignored the merit and selected the old novel of Madam Tara Mir Chandani whose novel was reprinted in 2013, it already was published in 1990 and got three consecutive awards in India, now Sindh Language Authority has chosen it for award which is injustice.

He demanded of CM Sindh to take notice of matter and direct to concerned authority to follow the rules to adhere the merit and criteria.
