LAHORE: Some unidentified armed assailants killed a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) worker in Sabzazar area of Lahore, on Sunday.
As per details, Malik Liaqat Ali, the PML-N worker was standing outside his house when some unknown armed motorcyclists opened firing, killing Malik Liaqat on the spot, while the accused managed to flee.
Police shifted the body to nearby hospital for autopsy.
According to police, the deceased had announced to support a PML-N candidate for the local government elections and opened an office in this regard.
Police started investigation into the incident.
