ISLAMABAD: As petrol crisis continued on the ninth consecutive day in Punjab, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Tuesday declared PML-N government ‘worse’ than the previous five-year rule of PPP.
Nawaz Sharif’s government turned out to be more incompetent than Zardari’s government,” Imran said while talking to media at Bani Gala before his departure to Peshawar. To a question, the PTI chief said that if petrol shortage is a conspiracy against the government, it would definitely be hatched by ruling PML-N itself.
Imran said that he was all set to announce the country lockdown, but, he added Sharif’s government itself shut down the country by creating petrol crisis. To another query regarding ex-CJ defamation lawsuit worth Rs 20 billion against him, he said that he would fight the case against Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
The PTI chairman taunted on ex-CJ’s son, saying that he is short of Rs 20 billion and that he is considering borrowing some money from Arsalan Iftikhar, who he said ‘made a huge sum of money’.
