ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will depart for Saudi Arabia on March 9 for three-day official visit, while PM Nawaz, during his stay in Saudi Arabia, will also attend closing ceremony of inter-country military exercises ‘North Thunder’.
According to Foreign Office spokesman, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit Saudi Arabia after invited by Saudi King. PM Nawaz will also attend closing ceremony of inter-country military exercises ‘North Thunder’. The mentioned military exercises continued in northern area of Saudi Arabia, which aimed to prepare for dealing with terrorism. Pakistani military troop is also a part of those military exercises.
Foreign Office spokesman said that Pakistani people and government is committed for the protection of Harmain Shareefain. Government of Pakistan will stand side by side with Saudi Arabia in case of any threat and Pakistan will continue to support every effort on local and regional level against terrorism.
