PM Nawaz says will end power, gas crisis within next few years

LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that his government will address issues of electricity and gas shortage within few years.

He said that there was an increase in power generation and the situation will start improving within next few months.

The prime minister said he couldn’t give any timeframe to resolve the power crisis however he asked the nation to trust him.

He said that he never tried to topple Pakistan People’s Party government through illegal means, rallies and protest.

He said that his government was keen to end extremism in Pakistan and improve relations with Afghanistan.

The premier said that the democracy was the only way forward for Pakistan’s progress and despite several challenges country’s economy was improving.
