Pakistan People’s Party-PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari said on Sunday that party needs young generation to take off their political struggle because they faced irregularities in every election, but it came with a renewed determination to contest the next polls by victory.

Feet-high stage condoned off with barb wire, PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari said he is going to start his new political journey from Lyari as before and also married Shaheed Benazir Bhutto from this constituency and the mission of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto continued with the help of public support, the Lyari people will not face any more bloodshed and their issues would be resolved soon he said.
Asif Ali Zardari further said Lyari is still a stronghold of Peoples Party and he could see the affection of the people here. “Lyari used to be a peaceful area but the remains of former military dictator Pervez Musharraf turned the town bloody,” he lamented. “People used to take refuge in Lyari, whenever the circumstances worsened in rest of the metropolis”.
He announced Rs 1 billion package for Lyari Development Authority, an engineering college and a housing scheme for Lyariites.
PPP Co-Chairman claimed to have ordered the chief minister to resolve water crisis in the town within three months and to appoint daily wages employees on permanent basis.
Asif Ali Zardari said that Peoples Party always faced unfair treatment in elections, yet it came to contest the next elections with a renewed determination every time.
“And the skipper is raising hue and cry just because of a single election,” he said. “We never did the politics of five years, nor did we focus on winning or losing the polls.”
“We always thought of Pakistan’s future and its betterment,” the ex-president added.
Speaking about agreements with China, he said that this is all an outcome of Peoples Party’s initiative and assured that his party will not let these pacts politicized.
Zardari also vowed to ensure the rights of Baloch and Pashtun people regarding the Pak-China Economic Corridor.
Commenting on India’s criticism at Chinese investment in Pakistan, the PPP co-chairman vowed not to let recently inaugurated Chinese schemes in the country derailed at any cost.
He went on to say that he warns India to reconsider its policies and do not infuriate Kashmiris.
He said that we know what is happening there in Kashmir and asked the Indian leadership to stop bothering the Kashmiri people.
The former president said that he has kicked off a public campaign and will hold rallies all over the country.
