Pakistan’s sacrifices against terrorism hailed worldwide: COAS

RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Raheel Sharif has said that Pakistan’s sacrifices for war against terrorism were praised internationally, while the world wants to benefit from our experiences over counter terrorism.
According to ISPR, Army Chief General Raheel Sharif visited South Waziristan, during which he inaugurated Cadet College. Talking to cadets and tribal elders, General Raheel Sharif said that there is a need to equip youth with education to help advance the country, while we need to further enhance the capabilities of youth, so that they can face future challenges.
According to Pakistan Army Spokesperson, Army Chief paid tribute to tribal people over offering sacrifices against terrorism, saying that the whole world has admitted the sacrifices offered by Pakistan in war against terrorism. Pakistan Army will continue to work on for reconstruction projects in the area.
General Raheel Sharif thanked United Arab Emirates for financial aid and tribal people for donating the land for construction of college.
