ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Senator Pervez Rashid Saturday said every Pakistani is an eyewitness to the attack on journalists by ‘Gullu Butts of Imran’.
In a statement issued here, Pervez Rashid said if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan tendered apology for leveling false allegations against journalists, then his party workers might stop attacking the media men.
He said it is due to the democratic culture nurtured by the Pakistan Muslim League-N that today Imran Khan has become able to stage his protests.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had patiently tolerated the negative politics of Imran Khan over the past six months and never answered the PTI chief in his language. The Prime Minister remained busy only in undertaking steps for welfare of the nation, he added.
Pervez Rashid said those responsible for attacking the Parliament and PTV are now making false claims of being the promoters of peace.
