LAHORE: Pakistan on Saturday issued death warrants for two convicted murderers to be executed on March 18.
A session court in Lahore issued death warrants for Azhar Mehmood after it was told during a hearing that the President of Pakistan had rejected plea for clemency filed by the convict.
He was convicted of murdering Saleem over personal enmity in Gujrat. Similarly, police in Mianwali say Ahmed Nawaz, a death row prisoner convicted of a murder, would be hanged on March 18.
