PESHAWAR: Pakistan Army has shifted thirty tourists and patients stranded in Chitral due to rains and floods to Peshawar, said an ISPR release on Tuesday.
Pak Army medical teams are also busy in providing treatment to the people injured due to floods.
Floods continue devastating Chitral, the 80 percent area of which is under water.
According to ISPR so far 31 people have lost their lives in floods while over 400 houses have been damaged.
Habitants of over 30 villages remain stranded and are facing severe food shortage due to the floods in the area.
The soldiers of the Pak Army are busy in relief and rescue works while food is being supplied to the affected persons by helicopters.
