NSA talks are confined to terror, Kashmir is on agenda of composite dialogues : Sushma

NEW DELHI: Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj said on Saturday that Kashmir is on agenda of composite dialogues.
She was addressing a news conference in New Delhi. Sushma said that all talks between India and Pakistan can’t be called dialogue, adding India did not wanted to call off dialogues rather it wanted to make a suitable environment for it.
Sushma said that composite dialogue between the two countries ended after 26/11 attacks, when dialogue was resumed but Mumbai trial progress was added to discussion. She added that terror and talks can’t go together, productive talks can take place in an environment free of terror and violence.
The Indian minister further said that at Ufa, it was decided that terror and talks would be delinked and counter-terrorism and LoC violations to be discussed at NSA talks.
Sushma said that India will talk on all outstanding issues, including Kashmir, when terror & violence will end, adding that her country is not running away from dialogue but right atmosphere is necessary.
She said that there will be no third stakeholder according to the Simla Agreement that Pakistan has signed, adding that meeting that has been agreed on in Ufa did not have Kashmir on the agenda.
Replying to a question, Sushma said that if Sartaj Aziz is willing to come, we welcome him, but he must come to talk on terror as agreed in Ufa.
