KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Local Government Nasir Hussain Shah called on Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party at Bilawal House and briefed him about the Karachi Package being initiated on the instructions of the Chairman.
As per details, a comprehensive discussion followed the briefings where Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari wanted that all the stake-holders, especially the business community should be taken into confidence and on-board during planning and execution process of Rs 150 billion Karachi Package to be launched after December 2015.
PPP Chairman said that along with the Karachi Beautification Plan, special arrangements and mechanism should be made for cleanliness in the city.
He said PPP has pledged to the citizens of Karachi to provide them a peaceful environment with complete security and equal opportunities to progress and prosper without any fear.
“We want Karachi to be compared to the world’s most-developed, well-organized and well-maintained cities of the world and an international hub of trade, business and tourism,” he added.
