ISLAMABAD: Senate Standing Committee for Finance ordered an audit of the Nandipur power project on Monday.
According to the details, Chairman Committee Saleem Mandviwala said that Nandipur project is a failure of government. The issue will also be discussed in the Senate.
Senator Saleem Mandviwala said that investigation of alleged corruption in Nandipur power project will be done and afinancial audit will be conducted.
To review the cost of project, at the next meeting of the committee the heads of Water and Power Ministry and Ministry of Finance have been summoned.
