NAB apprehend 7 Customs officials in Lahore

LAHORE: Seven high-ranking Customs officials were apprehended by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Punjab accused of causing losses to the national exchequer in the millions.
According to the details, those arrested by NAB include Additional Collector Amir Raheel, former assistant collectors Muhammad Tufail, Khalid Mahmood, Muhammad Afzal Dogar, Muhammad Akram, Sheikh Nadeem Latif and Syed Abbas.
The seven have been arrested for causing Rs180 million in losses to the national exchequer and misuse of their authority.
