SLAMABAD: The Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed on Sunday has said that Election Tribunal verdict on NA-122, describing it a biased decision.
As per details, he vowed to move the Supreme Court of Pakistan against Election Tribunal’s decision to de-seat National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq.
While talking to media persons, he said that we respect election tribunal’s decision but do not agree with it since the tribunal did not de-seat PTI PMA from NA-122 but just ordered reelection on the seat won by PML-N.
He said that history of Haripur, where the N-League defeated PTI in by-election, would be repeated if re-election is ordered in the constituencies of Ayaz Sadiq and Khawaja Sadiq Rafique.
