LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has on Tuesday announced support for Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) in NA-122.
As per details, the party withdrew its PP-147 candidate Ishtiaq Ahmad in favour of PTI’s PP-147 candidate Shoaib Siddiqui.
The announcement came after PTI delegation led by Chaudhry Sarwar made two attempts to gather PAT’s support.
Speaking on this occasion, PTI Punjab Organizer Chaudhry Sarwar said that NA-122 by-election is not just Lahore’s election but it will set the tone for entire Pakistan.
He said that PAT also had a role to play in NA-122 by-election.
