ISLAMABAD – The chairman of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Pervez Musharraf has said that the Pakistan is passing through a critical phase, adding that the nation should get united to make Pakistan a prosperous country.
During a telephonic address to an APML rally taken out to express solidarity with ex-military leader on Saturday morning in Islamabad, Pervez Musharraf said he was patriotic, emphasizing that the rulers should work for the welfare of common people.
Musharraf asserted that the country was facing terrorism but reiterated that Pakistan could be made prosperous if all forces work together.
He said he was comfortable at his farmhouse while thanked all the supporters for taking out rally.
However, Musharraf refrained himself from talking about the high treason case against him.
It is important to mention that this was the first public address of Musharraf since his treason trial started.
The supporters of Musharraf and APML workers marched through Sector G-6 and ended their rally at Chak Shahzad.
