KARACHI: Syed Murad Ali Shah will take oath as Chief Minister of Sindh today.
Caretaker Governor Sindh, Agha Siraj Durrani will administer oath to Syed Murad Ali Shah.
On August 16, Pakistan Peoples Party’s candidate Murad Ali Shah was re-elected as Chief Minister of Sindh.
During the session chaired by newly-elected Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani, members of provincial assembly cast the votes for their favorite candidate.
After the counting, PPP’s Murad Ali Shah was declared victorious with 97 votes while opposition’s candidate Shahryar Mahar faced defeat.
