LAHORE: A local court on Friday has issued non-bailable arrest warrant of actress Meera for not appearing before the court. Civil judge in Cantonment court held hearing of the case.
Meera’s alleged husband, Ateequr Rehman said that the actress married someone else while she was married to him. He urged the court to initiate legal proceedings against her. Earlier, the court had issued several notices to the actress however, she did not appear. The court then issued bailable arrest warrant and still none from her side appeared before the court.
On Friday, the court today has issued non-bailable arrest warrant and ordered the concerned authorities to present her before the court on September 17.
