KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement has said that it reserves the right to protest if killing of its workers is not stopped.
Addressing a press conference, MQM leader Ghazi Salahuddin said that party workers were being killed in Punjab and Karachi while Chanesar Goth had become another Lyari.
“We reserve the right to protest if situation doesn’t improve,” he warned. He said that Anwar Bao was killed in Punjab while another worker was gunned down in Chanesar Goth.
He said that a worker was killed while three others including an eight year old child sustained injuries in the firing.
The MQM leader said that no action was taken against criminal elements in Chanesar Goth as an operation continued in the city.
He demanded of the prime minister, interior minister, Sindh governor and chief minister to take action against drug mafia and other criminal elements in the vicinity.
