ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Parliamentary Leader Dr Farooq Sattar on Wednesday said that his party would continue its role in strengthening the democratic process in the country.
Talking to media persons, he said difference in opinion is the beauty of democracy and MQM believes to resolve issues through dialogue.
He said circumstances of the country demanded that all political parties should sit together and resolve the challenges being faced by the country.
He said his party doesn’t believe in politics of violence, adding, operation in Karachi was initiated on MQM’s request, which was the need of the hour as peace in Karachi could help the country to move forward as the nation demands.
To a question, he said MQM as a political party was playing its role for the progress of country and that it never went to point of no return.
