SUKKUR: The Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Marvi Memon on Sunday has said government is striving to make downtrodden segment of society economically sound.
While Ttalking to women in Sukkur, she said various schemes have been launched to empower women so as they would be able to earn a livelihood.
She said that corruption will not be tolerated in BISP. She directed the BISP authorities for enhancing the staff strength in Thar to facilitate deserving people.
