SIALKOT: A media team visited various villages affected by Indian shelling in Sucheetgarh, Chaprar and
Charwah sectors along the Sialkot Working Boundary .
Senior journalists Zafar Malik, Abid Hussain Mehdi, Imran Rehman, Abdul Majeed Butt and Arif Mehmood Sheikh met with the local perturbed people, who told them about the problems faced by them due to Indian shelling.
Farmers of the area told that the harvesting of the paddy and other seasonal crops had been lying suspended for the last eleven consecutive days due to indiscriminate heavy firing by Indian forces in bordering villages of Chaprar, Bajwat, Sucheetgarh, Bajra Garhi and Charwah Sectors.
The local people said that the unprovoked intensified heavy mortar shelling on Sialkot border villages by Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) had created panic and harassment among the local people in all villages along the Sialkot Working Boundary .
The media persons expressed grave concern over the Indian aggression and said that targeting civilian population was condemnable.
