ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister of Maldives Ms. Dunya Maumoon, along with her entourage, visited Lok Virsa Pakistan Monument Museum here at Shakarparian.
According to media reports, She had a round of museum and saw various three dimensional creative displays at the Pakistan Monument Museum depicting birth, history, struggle for freedom and development of Pakistan after emergence.
The visiting foreign minister took keen interest in the diorama on Founder of Pakistan Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the national poet and philosopher Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
She paid rich tributes to both the leaders for their struggle and contribution towards creation of Pakistan.
While recording her comments in the visitor book, the Foreign Minister of Maldives wrote “it was pleasure to visit the museum and to learn the history of the freedom movement and struggle by the Pakistani people to build the modern Pakistan.
“The Maldives government and the people prayed for the prosperity of Pakistan and its people,” she wrote.
