LHC dismisses plea seeking end to Azadi March

LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has dismissed a petition seeking an end to the Azadi March of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday.

Justice Shahid Bilal heard the petition filed against PTI’s Azadi March. High Court Office had declared the plea as non-maintainable. LHC withheld the decision of the High Court Office and said that no one can be stopped from staging peaceful protests.

The petitioner had stated that the long march of PTI is an international conspiracy against Pakistan which has sparked anarchy.

It was pleaded to the court to form a commission to investigate the back-door realities of the Azadi March so that the nation can be informed about the situation.
