SLAMABAD: The Local Bodies elections to be held on July 25 in Islamabad have been postponed again and the Supreme Court on Wednesday sought a new election schedule.
According to the details, a 3-member bench of the apex court resumed the hearing today regarding LB polls in Islamabad.
Justice Jawwad S Khawaja questioned the court on why only the people of Islamabad have been deprived of local bodies polls. The judge ordered that the court requires solid concrete responses in writing, regarding the lack of polling in the capital.
The bench adjourned the hearing till August 3.
