Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders put under house arrested ahead of Martyrs Day

OCCUPIED SRINAGAR: The Indian authorities on Sunday put under house arrested all Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders ahead of “Martyrs Day”.
According to the reports, the Hurriyat leaders including Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, Yasin Malik and Shabir Shah were put under house arrest.
The Hurriyet leaders had called a rally on “Martyrs Day” which is observed to commemorate the martyrdom of 31 people who were killed in firing by occupied troops of the then Maharaja in Srinagar on July 13, 1931.
The Hurriyat leadership said that they will start protest organization if India did not stop violence against people.
On the other hand, Indian forces martyred three militants in Pahalgam.
