Karachi police need bombproof vehicles: IGP Sindh

KARACHI: Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh, Ghullam Haider Jamali said on Saturday that 250 policemen had lost their lives in the Karachi operation.

The IGP Sindh added that there was a terrorist threat in Karachi and police needed bombproof vehicles. During a news conference, Jamali further said the government was helping the police which aimed to establish peace in Karachi.

According to the IGP Sindh, terrorists were better equipped than the police while a crackdown continued against criminals in the city.
