Jirga announces head money on killing of newly wedded, couple reached Court for protection

Newly wedded couple of Shikarpur district reached at Court to seek protection of their lives, Uncle of woman convened the Jirga and announced Rs 0.5 million head money on couple Ghulam Sarwar Sethar and Nadira Soomro for killing them, the Court has issued the notices to all respondents to appear in person before the on Friday 2014.
According to details, Ghulam Sarwar Sethar and Nadira Soomro resident of Chak city of district Shikarpur though their lawyer Abdul Sattar Janveri filed the constitutional petition against the relatives of bride and they prayed in petition that their relatives among uncle Altaf Hussain Soomro wants to kill them over the allegation of Karo Kari and have occupied on the agriculture land and her other prosperity.
Talking to media men, Nadira Soomro along with her mother told that she has got marriage with Ghulam Sarwar Sethar with her own will, her father is died and she is alone heir of property of her father, after their marriage, relatives of bride among Altaf Soomro, Saleem, Mujahid, Irfan Ali, Qurban, Manzooran and others have turned my enemy to usurp my agriculture land and other property.
She disclosed that his uncle Altaf Soomro has held jirga and announced head money Rs 5 lac for killing me and my husband.
The Court has issued the notices to respondents among Police, district administration and relatives of girl to be appeared before the court on 4 July 2014.

Pakistan still behind the neighbored countries regarding over all education policies and literacy rate

Alif Ailan chapter Larkana organized a one workshop on educational budget of 2013- 14 at Larkana Press Club here on Thursday.
District Coordinator Junaid Dahar apprised that media regarding the prevailing education policies in Sindh, still Pakistan is well behind the neighbor countries in education field with 58 percent literacy rate, where as, the Srilanka is ahead of us with 99 percent literacy rate while, Pakistan has yet to achieve Millennium Development Goal (MDG), spending 2.9 percent GDP for education instead of 7 percent which is deplorable situation he said.
He further informed that 300 schools of Larkana district are deprived of electricity facility, 200 schools have no drinking water and other basic facilities like wash rooms despite of having budget 4 billions 57 crores salaries and non salaries budget.
Junaid Dahar said that World Bank has provided Rs. 800 millions for School Specific Budget (SPB) for improvement the conditions of Sindh schools but due to inefficiency of concerned officials budget was not utilized in several district among Larkana district.
He said that objective of arranging the workshop to create awareness among the masses and parents to enroll their children and enhance literacy rate, quality education is right of every children, he said.
