JC verdict accepts but against ECP: Imran

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Saturday said that he accepted Judicial Commission verdict but it is against Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP)
In his press conference he said that, it is not him but Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who should apologise over the judicial commission report, as all political parties agree there was rigging in 2013 general elections.
Response to the report, Imran hit out at the Election Commission of Pakistan saying ECP had no idea of how the elections were being conducted.
Quoting the judicial commissions report, “ECP had no coordination with provincial elections commission” he said.
“My reservations about the last elections remain unchanged. It was a fixed match by PML-N, Election Commission of Pakistan and Returning Officers,” he said.
He further added that, I have pained by the findings of the Inquiry Commission regarding transparency of last general elections.
