ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has on Thursday said the Judicial Commission’s report endorsed the mandate of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and people’s mandate.
As per details, the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan has entered a new era of peace and prosperity after this landmark decision by the Judicial Commission, constituted to inquire the rigging allegations on General Election 2013.
While addressing the nation today, PM said that the political parties did not provide any evidence of the alleged rigging in elections, said the prime minister.
He said that he was ready to forget the sour memories of the past but it is hoped that the people who had wasted precious months of nation s life will learn from their mistakes.
PM further added that said the historic verdict of the Inquiry Commission has termed the holding of 2013 General Election as “just” and to have met all legal requirements.
PM Nawaz Sharif reiterated his resolve to free the country of terrorism saying, “We can see the results of operation Zarb-i-Azb. Our hinterlands and urban areas will soon be cleaned of terrorism.”
PM said that, we are facing floods on a national level and we need to help our countrymen. “I appeal to all Pakistanis to help their brothers and sisters in need due to floods.
