KARACHI: Chief Secretary Sindh Sajjad Saleem Hotiana ha asked the heads of departments to ensure timely action in respect of official proceeding, as unnecessary delay usually enhances the problems.
He said this, while receiving the applications and complaints from the citizens belong to the various parts of the Sindh province.
On a request of Muhammad Nawaz of Artillary Maidan near Sindh Secretariat regarding shortage of water, Chief Secretary directed Managing Director KWSB to ameliorate the complainant while on a complaint of Mian Abdul Rahim Bharo, the President of All Sindh Irrigation Trade Union Federations Sindh, Sajjad Saleem Hotana, instructed the Secretary Irrigation to save the Government and public properties from the Land Grabbers and encroachers, and submit report within 03 days. It has been reported in the complaint that the properties of Irrigation Department from Guddo Barrage to Ghotki Feedar @ Rohri, have unauthorizedly been occupied by the anti social elements under the reported patronage of SIDA/Irrigation officials.
Meantime, the Chief Secretary during weekly hearing issued order for removal from service of Dr. Muhammad Saleem on long absence, and warned Dr. Tahira Umar and Dr. Chunni Lal to ensure regularity and punctuality in attending their duties.

KARACHI: Minister for Zakat & Ushr Dost Muhammad Rahimoon has said that aim of this Complaint Cell of C.M. House is to solve the public problems & providing relief to the people.
This he said while talking to media person after listening public complaints at C.M. House.
Minister received telephonic complaints from different cities of Sindh including Karachi, Hyderabad, Khairpur, Sukkur, Lakana, Umerkot, Tharparkar and various other cities.
Complaints were regarding cleanliness, drinking water, law & order matters, health issues, sewerage system, load shedding and others.
Minister took strict action of complaints & directed to concerned officers to take immediate action for solution of their problems.

PPP MPA Hasnain Mirza condemns massacre at Peshawar school
KARACHI: PPP MPA Barrister Hasnain Ali Mirza has strongly condemned the attacked at Army public school in Peshawar, killing 141 people, 132 of them were children and many injured, this morning.
In a statement, issued from his office, Barrister Hasnain Mirza said that almost every segment of Pakistani society, which wants peace, is being targeted by terrorists. Schools to hospitals, bazaars, arm forces, polio workers, places of worship, the terrorists seem to be unrestricted in mounting attacks.
This cruel act of terrorism reflect the brutality and inhumane mindset of the terrorists he said.
There is no room for such terrorist acts in Islam. Terrorists have no religion and targeting innocent people is against the teachings of Islam and all religions, he further said.
PPP MPA Barrister Hasnain Ali Mirza has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives and prayed for early recovery of the injured and he also demanded adequate and free medical treatment to all those wounded in an attacked.
SINDH GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCES THREE DAY MOURNING OVER TRAGIC PESHAWAR INCIDENT
KARACHI: Sindh Government in solidarity with the people of Khyber Pakhtoon Khawa over tragic incident of killings of innocent school children in Peshawar by terrorists announces three days mourning throughout the Province from 16th to 18thDecember, 2014 with cancellation of all Government functions. The National Flag will fly at half mast. In this regard Services, General Administration & Coordination Department, Government of Sindh has issued a notification.
“The Government of Sindh condemn the gruesome act and stand with the Government of Khyber Pakhtoon Khawa on these tragic moments,” the notification added.
