KARACHI: Additional Chief Secretary Food Muhammad Nasir Jamali has said that there is no ban on movement of wheat within the province and there is only ban on illegal movement of wheat to other provinces under Section 144.
This he said in a statement issued here on Monday. He said that there was no ban on movement of wheat to any district of Sindh including Thar and the news regarding ban of wheat movement to Thar was baseless.
Additional Chief Secretary Food added, ‘Wheat procurement centres all over Sindh are functioning properly and District Food Controller concerned is bound to give Jute bags to the growers.
