Indus continues to flow in high flood at Kotri Barrage

HYDERABAD: The Federal Flood Commission (FFC) has said River Indus is flowing in high flood at Kotri Barrage with water discharge of 495,000 cusecs and “Guddu and Sukkur” reach with outflow of 273,000 and 240,000 cusecs respectively.
According to daily FFC, River Kabul is also flowing in low flood at Warsak with discharge of 200,000 cusecs.
Meanwhile, other rivers including Rivers Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi & Sutlej are flowing normal.
The actual river flows and reservoir elevations indicates that both Tarbela and Mangla Dams have attained their respective Maximum Conservation Levels of 1550.00 feet and 1242.00 feet.
