Indian court issues arrest warrants for MS Dhoni

NEW DELHI: Non-bailable arrest warrants for Mahindra Sindh Dhoni the Indian cricket captain have been issued according to Indian media reports.
As per details, the arrest warrant has been issued by a court in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh in connection with a petition filed by a social activist accusing Dhoni of hurting Hindu sentiments after he was portrayed as the Hindu god Vishnu on a magazine cover.
The picture carried the subtitle “God of Big Deals” with the cricket star holding products of several brands including a shoe.
The Court has summoned MS Dhoni to appear before the bench on the 25th of February.
