Indian BSF unprovoked fire at Sialkot Charwa Sector

SIALKOT- In another violation of Line of Control (LoC) ceasefire, Indian troops opened unprovoked firing at Charwa Sector today morning. Indian BSF targeted Tulsipur and Dhamal villages with machine guns and mortar shells, however, no damage or loss of life has been reported. Meanwhile, Chenab Rangers strongly retaliated, silencing the Indian guns.
It may be mentioned here that eleven civilians were killed and 38 people including three Rangers personnel sustained injuries in Indian firing on Working Boundary in Sialkot during October. Last month’s clashes marked the most serious violation of a 2003 ceasefire accord between India and Pakistan. The violence forced thousands of villagers to flee their homes.
