ISLAMABAD: Indian border forces once again opened unprovoked fire at Gultari Sector of the Line of Control (LoC); however, the befitting response by the Pakistan Army silenced their guns.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian army resorted to unwarranted fire near Astore at Control Line on Thursday morning. However, the Indian aggression was met with the prompt and effective riposte from Pakistani side.
This is the first time that Indian troops resorted to firing in Astore sector of LoC. The sources said no loss of life was reported in the Indian shelling.
