Imran Khan advised against going to ‘point of no return’

ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader in National Assembly and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah Monday held a meeting with Federal Law Minister, Zahid Hamid and criticized the government’s decision to impose Article 245 in Islamabad.

Talking to newsmen, Khursheed Shah said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan should not go to ‘point of no return’, advising the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to hold negotiations with PTI.

He asked the PML-N-led government what emergency in Islamabad forced them to impose Article 245.

Mr. Shah further said the government should not take any such step that would add fuel to the fire.

To a question, he assured that his party would not allow toppling of the incumbent government at any cost.
