ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Pervez Rasheed on Saturday criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan over his party’s decision to contest Senate elections.
Talking to media he said Khan doesn’t accept assemblies on one hand while on the other he intends to contest Senate polls.
Pervez Rasheed said Imran Khan looks afraid after the truth relating to NA-122 unraveled before the court. “Imran didn’t give up lying even after offering Umrah in Saudi Arabia,” Rasheed said.
He claimed that the PTI chief was running away from Judicial Commission as it might reveal the truth about his claims.
“Imran Khan is a lion of media and when the court ordered him to appear before it, he tendered apology and said he didn’t remember anything as a result of head injury”, Rasheed said.
The Federal Minister also asked Imran Khan to end mourning over PTI’s defeat and advised him to focus on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
