KARACHI: Home Department Government of Sindh has extended revalidation of manual arms licence for six months from 1st May, 2014 to 31st October, 2014.
According to notification issued by Home department, the initial extension for three month will be without any penalty on the prescribed fee of Rs. 1000 and subsequently the next three month i.e. from 1st August 2014 to 31st October, 2014 with penalty of Rs. 500/ to be deposited into Sindh government account.
Home Department also directed all Deputy Commissioners of Sindh to resume campaign for revalidation of manual arms licences in their districts in accordance with rules /policies conveyed by Home department.

5-SUPTDNT JAILS B-18, PROMOTED AS SENIOR SUPDTT. JAILS B-19, 36 P.As / APS PROMOTED

KARACHI: Sindh Government has assured promotion orders of five (05) Superintendents of Jail (Prisons) to the post of Sr. Superintendent of Jail from B-18 to BPS-19. The Superintendents of Jail (BPS-18), who have been promoted to the post of Sr. Superintendent Jails (BPS-19) are (i) Younus Masih (ii) Aijaz Hyder (iii) Qazi Nazeer Ahmed (iv) Nasir Khan and (v) Shahid Hussain Chajro.
The PSB-II met in the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sindh Sajjad Saleem Hotiana, in C.S. House on Wednesday morning. Senior Minister/ Minister for Jails Manzoor Hussain Wassan, also attended the meeting, who expressed congratulation to the newly promoted officer. Secretary Services Shafiq Ahmed Mahisar, Secretary Home Niaz Ali Abbasi, Special Secretary for Prisons Dr. Nawaz Shaikh and Inspector General Prisons Nusrat Mangan were also present.
Moreover, the Chief Secretary Sindh Sajjas Saleem Hotiana, also okayed promotion of 20 Additional Private Secretaries (BPS-16) to the post of Private Secretaries (BPS-17), named M/S Noman Waheed, Abdul Razzak, Shaukat Ali, Muhammad Farooq, Muhammad Ramzan, Abdul Waheed, Muhammad Panjal, Syed Salman Ali, Mukhtiar Hussain, Faisal Hussain, Naeem Latif Mangrio, Basheer Ahmed, Mumtaz Ali, Sarang Abdul Sattar, Muhammad Kamran and Ghulam Murtaza.
Meanwhile, promotions of 17 personal Assistant (PAs) have also been approved to the post of Additional Private Secretary (BS-16), namely M/S Shahzad Alam, Hafeezullah, Mashooq Ali Loond, Mukesh Kumar, Amjad Hussain, Muhammad Afzal, Shafiq Ujjan, Faiz Ahmed Pitafi, Hizbullah Mangi, Inayatullah Abbasi, Maqsood Ahmed, Muhammad Shahid, Aijaz Ali, Ghulam Mustafa, Muhammad Ashraf, Asif Ali Dahari, Zahid Ali Sahto, Syed Noor Muhammad, Ishfaque Baloch and Ghulam Mujtaba.
